I love getting a new J.Crew catalog in the mail and finding illustration inspiration from the stylish looks. Always classically cool and perfectly undone.

Blushing

Understated glamour in the form of blush pink always looks so elegant and feminine. Whether in sequins, tulle, or sheer fabrics, this hue always has an ethereal quality to it, especially when seen in evening wear.

Isabel Marant Fall 2012

Isabel Marant is all about that perfectly unkempt Parisian cool. Her fall collection had a flair of girly Americana, with laser cut leather, studded boots, and slouchy skinny pants with a kick hem.

Fancy Pants

A fall trend I'm loving right now is pants and trousers in opulent fabrics—from ornate brocade and jacquard to lace and printed silks.

Such a bright and whimsical little dress from McQ; I loved illustrating the layers of tulle and dimensional flowers.

Jason Wu Spring 2013

One of my favorites from NYFW so far, Jason Wu's final look, a tough-meets-ethereal ballgown. Sparkly, twinkling midnight blue tulle with a leather bondage bodice.
